Dow closes at record high in wild session after release of tax reform bill, Powell nomination
The Dow Jones industrial average closed 80 points higher after briefly falling 84 points. The index also hit a record intraday high.The tax plan would cut mortgage interest deductions in half. However, it would keep retirement savings plans like the popular 401(k) intact.
