Dow closes higher; small cap stocks hit a record
The small-cap Russell 2000 stock index hit a record Thursday, leading stock market gains after the release of the Republican tax reform framework.Many strategists expect the small cap stocks to benefit significantly from the proposed lower tax rates.The S&P 500 set a record close, but failed to hit an all-time high.
