Facebook rises more than 4%
The Nasdaq logs in its longest daily winning streak since May as Facebook posts its biggest one-day gain since April.
Corporate earnings continue to roll in as Berkshire Hathaway and Tyson Foods both report better-than-forecast profits.
"The positive surprises in the earnings season are strong and that's helping the overall sentiment in the market," says one strategist.
